Established in 1998, SRU, the Hi-Risk Unit, is a private security and rescue company serving individuals, security estates and businesses.
Why SRU is different
Our approach to security is holistic. Because we also run rescue and medical services, our clients know that any security or emergency call will be answered quickly and properly.
Our people come from the SAPS, intelligence, the army, medical and rescue services, security, business and project management. Between them they bring tactical armed reaction, tactical medical response, stolen vehicle recovery, criminal investigation, guarding, VIP protection and anti-poaching.
Everyone is trained in crime scene management, so that evidence is kept for the investigators. It can decide whether a criminal goes to jail or walks free.
